Mandrake 10 Community and KLaptop problem

Hello dear friends, this is my first thread.

I use Mandrake 10 Community and I have problem about KLaptop. It is not showing charge case. How can I fix it? Thanks for your helps.

have a look in the Mandrake forum too. There is a whole flock of issues of missing acpi and laptops. You can try enabling it in lilo from control panel. I did this though and unfortunately was not able to boot.

Is APMd or ACPI / acpid installed and running?

You can also mention here what kind of laptop you have. Most new(ish) laptops use ACPI, some ONLY use ACPI (like mine) so APM won't work.

You might have to recompile your kernel to enable the ACPI modules and such...

My Laptop is Datron Aero Xe. P4 2.4 , 768 MB Ram, 40GB harddisk, NVidia GeforceGo 4 graphic card, Ali Chipset sound card. 15'' monitor. Realtek ethernet.
