Unhappy Mandrake 10.1 CE on ACER TM 292LCi

Hi there,

I've an ACER TM292LCi
ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9700 3D / 64MB
Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG

and I'm getting disapointed about Mandrake 10.1 CE linux distro.
1. I need to copy ipw2200 firmware to a folder
2. After that my laptop hangs on boot and so I had to download acerhk and add some lines in rc.sysinit to switch on the Wi-Fi.
3. I found out I've no hardware 3D acceleration and installed the new drivers from ATI site.

Now I've hardware 3D acceleration but suddenly the mouse started to have a weird behaviour. It only happens at the top border of the screen when a window is top aligned to the desktop and the mouse is on Y = 0 position and changes to resize-window pointer, the mouse pointer jumps horizontaly some pixels after. If I move the mouse down slowly it jumps back to the position it was before. If I move up and down the mouse switch from position to another jumping forward and backward.
I'm getting mad about this coz sometimes when I want to minimize a maximized window I close it accidentaly coz the mouse pointer jumped.

Is there any logical explanation for this ? It only happens at the Y=0 position of the screen and only with resizable windows. It happens also if I use the touchpad.

I need some help here.
Thanks in advance.
