Littlebit Maori 420 1440x900 and Xfree

Hello!
I got some problem with my laptop (a Maori 420 from litllebit, a swiss laptop vendor).
I've got a 16/9 screen, which standard resolution is 1440x900.
I've tried to had 1440x900 to my XF86Config file, but the screen got scrandle.

It seems to be a Modelines problem, but i don't know what for a modeline i have to write in my X configuration file (i've read it depends on my video card , it's a ati radeon mobility 9000 ...)
Here are the specifications of my laptop :
www littlebit.ch/fr/index_fr.cfm

I use Redhat 9, but i got the same problem with Debian :-(

Anybody got an Idea ?

Thanks
