Linux on XDA 2i or any other Windows mobile device

Hello all,
This is my first post in this forums... And firstly i'd like to apologise if this has been asked again, but after a brief search i couldnt find anything.

I have ordered an XDA IIi today, and as all of us know, it's running on Windows mobile 2003. We also know that all that processing power it's got is largely wasted by windows. I'm sure that linux running on that thing would unlock a lot, and make it run much more efficiently.

The question is: Is there any fully working version of linux that can run on a pda such as XDA 2i?

I searched the net for something like that, for a couple of days and couldnt find anything. If i'm correct, does anyone know any projects under development?

Thanks!

This site: http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index...gename=Xanadux looks interesting. The XDA is a funky bit of kit, but it'd be that much better with a bit of the old penguin sprinkled on it!
