I have an old macintosh laptop that I'm thinking of installing Linux on. As stated in the Subject, it is a PowerPC PowerBook 3400c (old system). It has around a 1300MB harddrive, and 32MB ram. It has a modem, on board network, and CD-ROM drive. Now for my question. Basically, I want to know if I can load a functional version of Linux on this computer, and if I would be able to have it networked to my PC (Windows Me), and be able to easily share wordprocessing files with MS Word, and share my internet connection. If anybody has any suggestions it would be awesome. Thanks.

no... you'd probably want to download an older version and customize the install, but then again i don't know how much you're going to get on such a small hd
