Linux on a Powerbook 5300cs: What are my options?

I acquired this antique piece of hardware during Christmas break and finally got it working today with a friend's help. MacOS 7.5.3 seems to be working well, but I'd really like to have some linux on it. The only catch is the fact that it doesn't have a CD drive or any type of networking device. Is there any way for me to get linux on this laptop? possibly something that uses floppy images for the install.....?

...any other suggestions are definately welcome....

all that said, the latest 'file modified on' date is Friday, April 18, 1997. This thing is OLD! seems to be affected by the y2k bug also. i'm suddenly living in 1904

later,
nate

look into debian.... you could copy the main boot-loader and install images and base install via appletalk... then debian i think will allow you to setup a ppp connection to install the rest
