Linux for the Windows PocketPC

can anyone recommend a Linux for PowerPC. oddly, i've not seen much. I have a Casio Cassiopeia running PowerPC and all i use it for is contact manager (i've long gotten rid of virus bound Outlook).

i'd like to put Linux on it, just don't know how i'd go about it and i'd dread to have to go to Windows 2000 to download to it.

anyone delt with this before ?

I'm confused, do you want to run linux on the PocketPC
http://familiar.handhelds.org/

Use linux with a computer that uses a PPC processor

Or just be able to sync with the pda
http://synce.sourceforge.net/

wow, thanks man!

actually the name that i should have used was Windows CE. It's just called a Windows Powered PocketPC, i don't think it has any relation with the PowerPC as per MAC.

But that last link, now why does that NOT surprise me.

Still interested in putting Linux on it though.

But getting at it from Linux is a good start for now.

Thanks again

looked good but seems to require too many updates like libgnomeui for me to seem to catch up on so i'll have to shelve this one for a while.

thanks for the link though
