LinkSys PCMPC100 3c574_cs driver

I am about to spend my hard-earned $ on this Linksys PCMCIA ethernet card, the PCMPC100. According so the README in the download section of sourcforge, the 3c574_cs driver in the pcmcia package (pcmica-cs-3.2.4.2) will work in this one. BTW, I'm running Mandrake 9.2 on a Toshiba 1755 Satellite.

I wanted to ask if anyone has had experience using this card with linux in theri laptop. I'd be very greatful for any input you can provide.

Thanks in advance
