[SOLVED] Like to Dual Boot New HP AMDA4 Chromebook with mint- Possible?

Just bought an HP 14-db0023dx laptop that is running ChromeOS -
Can I install Linux mint to

1)do a dual boot...
2)or make it boot to a USB stick with mint on it or
3)just blow chrome away and just install mint.

Suggestions are very welcome.
Pointers to 'HOW To" are so very welcome if it can be done.

I'd either return it or run linux alongside what you have to be honest.

I get the feeling it won't be newbie simple. You may have to play with it for a bit.

There are ways to run linux in ChromeOS but going to a dual boot or replace I don't think will be as simple as boot to some usb.

Most web sites suggest some form of vm sort of deal but you will need to follow a current 2019 guide if you wish to continue. A lot of steps.
