LFS Booting problem

I am trying to boot the Linux From Scratch Live CD, but my Thinkpad 760 XL will not allow to boot from my CDROM. I've tryed Smart Boot Manager and when the floppy boots it says "SBMK Bad!" Is there another boot manager I could use?
