laptop recomendations, native wireless & modem support

I have been searching the net for ages now. I have become very frustrated. I have gone through so many sites comparing laptops with reviews and compatibility. I am having no luck in finding a laptop that has what I want.

I want a laptop for at most AU$1,500 (~US$1,100).
It needs to support the dialup modem without those Linuxant drivers.
It needs to be able to support wireless. I would like it to be able to support wireless natively so I can use software like Kismet but it seems like that isn't going to happen.
It needs min of 60gig HDD
and a DVD burner.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

I have Acer Travelmate 4202WLMi. I haven't tested the dial-up modem but I've heard it works. You could check this out. Wireless doesn't work native but has drivers available which work. http://ipw3945.sourceforge.net/

Why dont you go for DELL Inspiron notebooks, they have Intel pro/wireless cards, inbuilt.
and you can really get them cheaper than you are expecting now..gud luck :)

ditto, Dell Latitude D810 w/ Intel ABG wireless, works great out of box. Never tested the modem though
