laptop cd drive on RH9

I'm running Red Hat 9 on my Mitac 6133 laptop, and I can't get anything to mount from my cd-rom drive. I get this error

Mount: Can't find dev/cdrom in /etc/fstab or /etc/mtab

any suggestions on how i might fix this?

Edit /etc/fstab and add a line that looks like,

/dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom iso9660 noauto,owner,kudzu,ro 0 0

Then to mount, type mount /mnt/cdrom
