Question Kubuntu 8.04 known problems on lg laptops?

Hi all! I'm currently downloading Kubuntu 8.04 KDE4 remix.
I plan to install it on my LG R510 laptop because i need it for school. it'll be my first contact with linux, and therefore i don't know what to expect..
Does anybody know any problems related to linux and the LG R510?

thank you in advance
