Knoppix help

Hi All. I just downloaded knoppix 3.3, and ran it off the cd. I need to know how to make knoppix recognize my Microsoft MN-120 ethernet card, and how to save the file to my hard disk so it will read from it every time I load knoppix, so I can actually access the internet without having to re-write the file every time. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

From the KDE start menu, go to the KNOPPIX sub-menu, then the Configure sub-menu and select 'Save Knoppix configuration' or 'Create a persistent KNOPPIX home directory', to save your custom configurations.
