Keyboard not responding Toshiba Satellite A70-SP211 w/ Debian KDE 3.4.2

Hi everyone, i hope that someone here can lend me hand, a few days ago i upgraded my Toshiba A70-SP211 Laptop KDE version to 3.4.2 from the official Debian testing mirrors; and until this morning everything was a-ok, everything worked and i left it turned on until today.

Since the hard drive was kind of slow from many days of activity i decided to reboot and now when KDM starts, the keyboard just wont respond and thuis i have no access whatsoever to the OS. And i should mention thar i use an USB mouse that does respond still and it lets me at least click on the shutdown/reboot options....

I am quite sure that this is a KDE/KDM problem because when i reboot in single mode the Keyboard works and i have console access, i am currently using another computer at work to post this and to google for any tips, but i have had no luck yet.

Anyone can give me any pointers? Id really appreciate it because i am practically without a work PC.

Thanks in advance...

Had to fallback to KDE 3.3.2 from the Debian Stable Package Mirrors, i had to resume my work. Maybe later i will try to upgrade again.
