KDE Auto Update

Hello all,

Can someone help me understand this. When I first installed FC6 running Gnome I always or once in a while use to receive a pop-up letting me know that their were new security updates.

Since I switched to KDE this does not happen. How can I make that pop-up come up in KDE. I know that it uses pup but that's all I know about it.

Any kind of help would be great.

Does Fedora provide a panel applet for updates with KDE?

The KDE website: http://kde-redhat.sourceforge.net/
says you should run yum update on your system.

So I presume the updater applet is YUM and that if there is a KDE repo configured in YUM, then it should check for updates.

Only guessing mind you - I don't know Fedora
