Java on oz

I got two problems on oz and java, but if someone has an .ipk of the Jeode that would solve everything...

1) First i have tried to reinstall the orginal Sharp Rom with the OSpack file. But when i upload it to my machine via Usb with Trolltech on Linux it creates a Documents dir on my /mnt/cf

then i do the flash and it does not work.

i cannot figure what i am doing wrong.

Since i could not get that work...i then found a work around from openzaurus.org
oz jeode extract option

2) I seem to mount the rom ok, but the trouble comes using the "ipkRomRipper.sh" from step 9.

I get broken links i believe so the ipk is not created correctly.

Howver there is the other ways to do step 9, but i do not understand the first option at all...What is the control.tar.gz? If someone can explain this...i will try this way.

From openzaurs,org
"Untar the creator script(s), then control.tar.gz, to obtain the postinst scripts. Then edit the paths in the postinst scripts, so that they refer to the mounted ROM filesystem, and refer to the "real files", as opposed to the symlinks on the filesystem. This can be tricky, so be careful, and make sure that you end up tarring up the real files, as opposed to symlinks. Run the script when you are done, to create the application install packages."

Btw i got oz to talk to linux with Fedora with really np and now I can use Trolltech to synch my Zaurus if anyone needs any help there...

One more thing...anyone know of a good email client for OZ or Zaurus.
