IRDA on a Dell Inspiron


Does anybody here have irda running properly on a Dell Inspiron, preferably an 8100? I've set it up in BIOS, changed ports, and still can't get it to even see my PDA via irdadump.

does your kernel have irda support? Try recompiling it and adding it in

Thats the way i got my irda port working under rh 7.3
