Internet and sound problems

Hi all,

I just installed suse Linux 9.1 on my hp pavilion zv5000. I have not been able to get sound or internet access on it. If anyone knows what I should do or were to go to find out how to get this up and running I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

Mat

What always gets me when I install basically any distro on my laptop, is that I have to remember to go into Kmix and the "switches" tab and flick the "external amplifier" button. Otherwise I never have sound no matter what I try. That could be something to check.
