Intel i810 DRM - not functioning


Hello, My name is Rory.

I'm a computer programmer in training and I'm relatively new to linux. I taken on the challenge of installing and configuring Gentoo on my MDG VisionBook 6000 with an Integrated Intel graphics controller.

I've tried everything from the suggested linux driver on the site, to CVS Sources, all along following the Gentoo Configuration docs.

first of all, did you get the 855patch?
google for it!

second, the modules should be build as modules and you should use the cvs, not with the kernel (unless you use 2.6).
