Question Intel 915 GM/GMS,910GML Express Chipset Family

I'm the new user of Linux. I've installed openSUSE and I've met such a problem as I can't switch resolution of the screen to WXGA (1280x800). The system shows that I have monitor with 1280x800 resolution. Actually that's right, but the max possible resolution that Linux gives me 1024x768. How can I make my resolution 1280x800?

There is a 915-resolution package available for most distributions. Go here and click "Advanced RPM search to the right of the search button, then put "915 resolution" without the quotes in the search and select only "Opensuse" if there are multiple check boxes for different Linux.
Or ask yast to install it if it is setup with repositories.

how, resolution, screen
