Umm, it sounds like you are having problems loading your WINDOWS drivers? Pavilions come with a full suite of necessary CDs to install and reinstall..
I assume you have formatted or resized your partitions already, I had no issues with loading my drivers in Red Hat on my HP Pavilion 5202, it just took a couple tries to get it to consistantly recognize my onboard mouse and the keyboard..
You really didn't say anything other than you are having driver problems, please clarify what steps you are taking, maybe system specs, and when exactly the problem occurs and what it says exactly?
