Installing redhat 7.3 or 9 on a Toshiba Satellite Pro TE2300

I need help on installing Red hat 7.3 or 9 on my Toshiba Satellite Pro TE2300. With 7.3 I managed to install it but when I try to load it up when it reach the part of "Starting Up Daemon" it will start showing some script which seems like looping. With redhat 9 The installation process hungs during the first part after checking the usb. I tried loading Knoppix but when it got to the part where intialising peripherals it hungs. Please help

If your keyboard and mouse are not on USB then you could try going into your BIOS and disabling USB.
