Installing Opensuse 11.2 on hp mini 110 STUCK BOOTING AFTER INSTALL

So I copied the opensuse kde livecd to my flash drive, as the full DVD was too big to fit (4.7G, my flash drive is only 4) planning on adding software via yast later. However, after install, I am stuck at
Starting udevd: Done
Loading drivers, configuring devices:
And refuses to move. I reinstalled to the same effect. Help?

EDIT: I was able to load into failsafe. Still though. What would of caused this?
