Installing on ASUS ROG GL70GM

Hay

I am currently trying to install linux on an asus rog gl703gm but am having some difficulty.

1. What ever distro I try to install along side windows it doesnt detect any other operating system.

2. Once I go get a distro installed windows then takes a long time to boot and sometimes will just give a blank screen.

The laptop has a 256GB NVMe/PCIE SSD and a HDD, I have tried installing on both storage device but end up with the same issue.

Can anyone provide any advice?

Thanks
