installing federa core on laptop
currently trying to install fedora core on my dell inspiron 2100, it couldn't detect my monitor, and beforing entering setup, my creen just gone white and nothing appears, should I install my linux on the command line? or is there any other way so that it can detect my monitor? if not, what u guys suggest me to do?

I am not really sure myself. Dispite the fact that i have installed REd Hat 7 several times on my schools POS computers, I just installed FC1 on my personal Dell 8200. What you may want to do is go to the dell website and look up all the moniter information and run xconfig86(that is if you are that far into the setup)
