If you checked Google, you'd have found that the EEE PC build works fine, and the image is on the Android-X86 site, along with all the OTHER Android images for x86 computers:

No idea what you're saying. Do you mean your hard drive isn't detected AT ALL, or do you mean that your drive IS detected, but that it can't find partitions??. You should just have to boot up into the default 'live' mode, make an ext3 partition as noted in the instructions, and install to it. You can also use gparted, or any Linux CD/DVD to boot from into rescue mode, and create your partitions from there. The Android x86 documentation has this info in it...have you read it?

Installing your Chromium OS image to your hard disk

If you followed the set of instructions for a Chrome OS Notebook, the image is already on your hard disk. However, if you booted Chromium OS straight from a USB key, you might want to put your image onto the hard disk.

Once you've booted from your USB key and gotten to the command prompt, you can install your Chromium OS image to the hard disk on your computer with this command:

/usr/sbin/chromeos-install

IMPORTANT NOTE: Installing Chromium OS onto your hard disk will WIPE YOUR HARD DISK CLEAN.

The drive might not be detected because it may not be mounted maybe? Like TBone I am pot shooting in the dark here also from what you are saying.

If me. I would first make a http://distrowatch.com/table.php?dis...on=partedmagic live usb and format, flag, and label the internal ssd drive first before attempting a google/chome os install on internal ssd drive. I would also check bios first also to make sure internal ssd drive was recognized there also.

Code:

Machine:  System: Acer (portable) product: AOA150 version: 1
Mobo: Acer model: N/A Bios: Acer version: v0.3305 date: 05/09/2008
CPU:      Single core Intel Atom CPU N270 (-HT-) clocked at 800.00 MHz

Yes, but Chromium is different from Android. The OP is wanting Android.

My hard drive finally detected, thanks. Android x86 doesn't support partition unpartition drive, so to fix it i use windows cd to create new partition as ntfs and then try to run x86 again. Android os on acer netbook finally work, but i have a question on using LAN cable i dont see any option to use it. Then sound doesnt seems loud. Im using Android 4.0 ICS x86 for eepc, do you think this is not compatible.

tailinlinux 04-09-2013 07:11 PM

I have read that android 2.3 x86 r2 supported Ethernet, nothing if i try it, if i fail maybe i will try to check for other rom or mods for pc supporting ethernet, thank by the way.

There are no "rom or mods" for getting ethernet going...the functionality is NOT supported in Android x86 right now, period. Their own docs are telling you it won't work. Go right ahead and do what you'd like, but it's pointless.

Yes there are. At least since early last Summer. The first patched versions were DHCP only.
