Installing Abiword to eeePC 701 and Xandros - problems with repositions

Googling "eeepc 701 repos" I found http://wiki.eeeuser.com/addingxandrosrepos and I followed the advice there. Now I have
Code:

deb file:/tmp/.SArCAYRI tmp main
deb http://update.eeepc.asus.com/1.6 common main
deb http://update.eeepc.asus.com/1.6 p704 main
deb http://update.eeepc.asus.com/1.6 fi main

deb http://updates.xepc.org/ p701 main
deb http://xnv4.xandros.com/eeepcrepos/ p701 etch main
deb http://dccamirror.xandros.com/dccri/ dccri-3.0 main
deb http://www.geekconnection.org/ xandros4 main
deb http://download.tuxfamily.org/eeepcrepos/ p701 main etch

When I write "apt-get update" I get many error messages "Unable to load some files" or something like that.

Then "apt-get install abiword" does not succeed and when I try to use synaptic I get the eror message
Code:

W: stat did not work for reposition list http://xnv4.xandros.com p701/etch Packages (/var/lib/apt/lists/xnv4.xandros.com_eeepcrepos_dists_p701_etch_binary-i386_Packages) - stat (2 no file or foulder found)
W: stat did not work for reposition list http://xnv4.xandros.com p701/main Packages (/var/lib/apt/lists/xnv4.xandros.com_eeepcrepos_dists_p701_main_binary-i386_Packages) - stat (2 no file or foulder found)

(Becouse my Xandros is in Finnish I had to translate some part of the messages above ...)

I would greatly appreciate to know the working repositions and pinning values for eeePC 701!

I am not sure Abiword is in the Xandros repositories.
Maybe the Debian ones will work for you.
Read the rest of that wiki page for the details.

I got fed up with Xandros (because of nonsense like this), and installed kubuntu 8.04 on my eee701
I have 4G on-board for the OS and a 16GB SD card for /home
It all works well.
