Installation of fedora on windows 7 OS ended in dracut shell

Hi guys,

I am trying to install fedora 7 on my windows 7 OS. I was trying to to install in dual boot at the start up. First the idea is to install OS from USB with the use of universal USB installer. Every thing went well untill there was error message and then it ended up in dracut shell. I am unable load OS in gui VERSION. Later i realised i couldn/t even find the windows OS option in the dual boot up drop-down. Finally i ended up abandoning my laptop. Is there anyone else out there facing the same issue.

Fedora 7 support ended in June of 2008 and if you have hardware newer than that there isn't much likelihood it will work and obviously, you won't be able to install any software from the official repositories nor would you be able to get security updates. Download site for Fedora at the link below.

Minimum system requirements at the link below.

If you decide to install Fedora, I would suggest you read the pages below at the Fedora site on dual-booting.
