Installation notes wanted for installing Fedora Core on T40
I am in the process of installing Fedora Core on the IBM ThinkPad T40. Are there any good installation instructions out there, especially to get all the laptop specific stuff working, such as the function button, trackpoint, wireless (CISCO card) etc.
The Linux on Laptops website has sections on different manufacturers and there are several links to pages about the T40 already. That would be a good place to start.
Also, Intel has openly said that they will release Linux drivers for the Centrino chipset (and the WLAN device as well, IIRC?) so until then you probably won't have 100% functionality.
