Althought It is possible to run an installer, have the installer recognize the flash stick as a drive, and install the files onto the
flash stick. The big question would be, does the Bios of the PC support a flash stick as a bootable drive? I havent seen a bios that can do that (yet). More power to ya though If you can get it to work. The only pitfall you have is the bios issue. |
Well would the booting work say if i restarted in an ms dos promp and typed some sort of script, or made some sort of boot disk?
-thanks Jamie |
That will definitely work. You just need your flash stick to be recognized by windows and use a program called loadlin.
Here is a link that can help you use loadlin. http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Loadlin+Win95-98-ME.html Hope this helps. |
