inspiron 8500
 

i have a dell inspiron 8500, default resolution is 1680x1050... was anyone able to get X to run on it?

I don't know how littleking fixed his, but I set my colors to 16 bit and it worked fine at 1680. But since my eyes aren't that good I had to set the pixel count back to 14xx something or other. Whatever that setting was.
