Smile IBM thinkpad Lenovo and sound


i installed fedora 4 in my thinkpad Lenovo Z60m but i could't have the sound.

How to deal with?

With Ubuntu i did not have this problem.

its the hda-sound chipset. ive posted the the answer to this maybe 3 times, and i dont feel like digging up the answers, but they do exist

look for snd hda intel, though you may just need ot update alsa, as i think this chipset works by default now.

thinkpad and sound

Three months ago i had the same problem.
You must desable quick boot option form bios.
