Question I want to instal linux into my ibm thinkpad 600E

now, window98 is running in my thinkpad,netcard is 3com 589D comb,but I don't have the driver .Where i can download it?

Are you asking where you can get the Win98 driver for your 3c589D PCMCIA card? Try 3coms website

As far as installing linux on it, you could just boot from cd or floppy

I use this site a lot for linux laptop info:

There are several pages there for the Thinkpad 600E.
