I have some problem with acer aspire 1300

hello everybody.
i have a problem and i want your help.
i have 'acer aspire 1300' and i installed linux debian 5 on it ,it works very well but it can't recognize any hardware installed on my laptop like 'modem, vga card,ethernet'.
this is my hardwares.
vga card:'s3 graphic twister k'
modem:'conexant soft 56k modem'
network adapter:'via compatable fast ethernet adapter'.

I don't have an answer for you problem but this might help you to post a thread and get better/more replies. Many that might be able to help usually look right past posts with help me in the title. So this will help so you can get the best solutions to your problem.
