You can install from USB drives as well. That's how I put Linux on mine.

I'm still not sure what it is you're asking though...

OK - so: "help me install windows" is not about installing windows... fine.

Presumably you can also boot from an external drive ... like a usb cd-drive?

Most *nixes have a net install option - you do need to get a net-install image on your HDD, and clear some space, but you use the ethernet then. "Whatever" else gets installed over the net from the OpenSUSE repos.

To install windows? In a machine not designed for installs? you ask your work sysadmin for a Windows VM image.

OR - You make some free space on the HDD, then take it to a MS Cert Engineer and hire that worthy to install windows - specifying: "I want XP in the free space please." Make sure you bill your work - since they require specific OS, surely it's their job to see that you get it.

What do you "need" windows for?
