HP ze5385us, Radeon, and 3D
Well, I know I've asked this before, and I've been met with mixed answers. I would like to get my Laptop running some 3d drivers... yet I honestly don't know what to do. I have read that the Radeon IGP isn't supported in X11, or DRI, or whatever, but it's a common card, and I've heard people saying they have it working. (Although they never seem to be able to help me out) So, I'm going to ask yet again. Is there a method (any at all) for me to get 3D accelleration on my laptop? I'm familiare with Kernel Compiles, and I've installed the NVIDIA drivers many a time. Here's all the info I can think might be asked.
It is an ATI RADEON IGM 340. The laptop it lives in is a ze5385us. I have Fedora Core 1 installed. Yes, the card is a R200 chipset. (Or atleast that's the drivers HP provides for windows) Right now I am running radeon 2D drivers. I have X11 4.3.0 (I think). Running Kernel 2.4.22, soon to be running 2.6.0-test11 (If I can get it to boot... test 9 didn't.... but that's a whole other post)
So, anyone got any ideas?
