Hello everyone , Just picked up another laptop.
The first thing i did was upgrade to a gig of ram. It was cheap enough and after rebates on the laptop i'm still under the cost of the same unit that sold with 512 ; ) Upon opening it up two nights ago I installed suse 8.2 on it fine minus wifi support or functional mplayer. I then decided to put xp on it so i wouldn't have to bother with two laptops. I wiped the drive andMy question is I just installed xp profesional and didn't partition the drive. I configured the unit with base apps etc and made a ghost image just incase i mess it up with linux install.
I guess my question is Will suse 8.2 resize ntfs partitions so that i can install suse with xp pro? The other question is has the linux linksys wpc11 driver project died? I can't find anything online anymore.

ok so i used suse's ntfsresizer .. ran into some problems
booted back into windows did disk check and it took forever.
However it fixed all my troubles so i decided i'd just try partition magic.
Worked like a charm and i now have suse 8.2 and winxp pro. Upon booting suse i was imediately able to view my ntfs drive. I'm not going
to bother with writing files to it though, heard it'll hose you up pretty badly. Not like i need to anyway. Guess you could say i killed my own thread lol.
