HP Pavillion dv9000 arch question

Hi, I need some help with loading linux on my laptop.

It came with win vista. I switched back to win xp, and then wanted to dual boot with Linux.

I've tried to install Fedora (64), but I don't know which version / arch to download.

I have the dv9000. The system details are as follows: AMD Turion 64 x2 Mobile, Tech TL-64, 2.21 GHz & 1.93 GB of RAM.

If you could, pls point me to the right version.

Also, I don't have Roxio. I've been using CDburner Pro 3(www DOT cdburnerxp DOT se). Is that an acceptable ISO burning program? If you've never used it, then could you recommend a free one that runs on win xp?

I would greatly appreciate any help!

If you want to install the 64-bit version of Fedora you'll want to download the x86_64 ISOs. CDBurnerXP Pro can burn ISOs, so yes it's suitable.

If you want to install the 64-bit version, the yes. Otherwise, use the x86 version.

Just download magiciso. Use magiciso to burn iso file to cd. It works fine.
