HP Omnibook Network Install Problems
I am attempting to do a network install onto an HP Omnibook 800CT. This particular laptop has a P166 w/MMX, 80 MB of RAM, 3-4 GB HDD, and that's about it. I recently bought a PCMCIA NIC for it (Belkin F5D5020). I have made the boot disks for RedHat 9 and tried to do the network install but everytime I tell the installer what kind of network card I have (using pcnet_cs) the installer crashes. Upon checking other terminals (Alt+F3, Alt+F4) it says something about not finding a file or something. The reason I am trying a network install is 1) It's cool! 2) I don't have a CD-ROM. Actually I do have a CD-ROM but it is SCSI. It is designed to hook up to the SCSI port on the docking station but I don't have the cable and I would much rather pay $30 for a new network card than $50 for a stupid SCSI cable. Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions or comments or anything that would be great.

P.S. I have read pretty much everything I can find about this laptop on the various linux-laptop websites. I know it's possible but I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Don't flame me for not having the exact error message...I'm at work right now.
