hp nx6330 debian7 wireless share problem
 

hi guys ,i am new and my english is not very well,first than you for your patient.
i want to install debian 7 on my laptop hp nx6330,when i instlled the system there is no internet connection.and after it finished the wireless does not work,i dont know how to make sure the wireless drivers did install or not?so does the graphics card(ati x1300).if it did not install ,how can i to install the drivers?
and i have another desktop computer ,the laoptop connect internt with the wireless,and the desktop computer connect the laptop,it is easy for desktop computer connect internet by laptop share wireless connection in windows ,i dont know how to do it in debian7?

if I had to guess your wireless adapter may need some non free firmware installed

thank you,the wireless is ok now,but the ati x1300 drivers still can not fix

from quick search that x1300 is legacy supported device so its considered obsolete.

but looks like may not like debian 7

not sure on open source support for the x1300. due to things moving fast wouldnt be surprised if support was dropped hope for your sake it wasnt.

I started with Slackware linux its a little simpler than Debian but does not have the same support Debian has. Debian package repositories are much better than slackware.
slackware has not changed greatly over the years nor has debian the more things change the more they stay the same.

I read Linux for dummies,various redhat books when redhat company was producing commercial boxes with various versions that included cd's at electronic and book stores. one of my favorite was Linux system administration which came with slackware 3.5 on cdrom. I read Linux in a nutshell from O'Reilly which may still be in print. most of the books are probably not in print.

lots of information on linux online much more than when I started researching and learning to use linux.
I dont know whats availible on the ebook market.

when I run into a problem I use my favorite search engine and try various search strings probably easier when you know the language well no offense, otherwise I would hit a forum like Linuxquestions.org which is great resource. http://forums.debian.net/ looks to be a good forum as well I havent used it though. may be some mIRC channels with some good help but havent used mIRC myself in years and seems to have fallen out of favor with forums and wiki's around that and mIRC was buggy and virus ridden.

if slackware interest you any which is basic linux system and one of the oldest distributions if not the oldest.

in the day I read tons of How-to's but dont believe they are maintained anymore and outdate.

thank you and i wonder is linux only sysytem in your computer? i like linux because it simple stable and efficiently just like a man that i want to be !as your know ,english is not my mother langue,i want to learning it well like linux,but i am a lazy man ,i am not sure whether i can do it well or not ,but i want to try ,thank you again

I use windows 7,Debian 7.0.0 and Slackware 14. used to use windows for gaming but its not so great for gaming these days otherwise I prefer to use Linux.
