Hi,
I bought a laptop (HP Envy 15-j000ec 2013) and it has "Beats Audio" system (2 front speakers, 2 rear speakers and a subwoofer). The point is that I cannot make the rear speakers and subwoofer to work, laptop produces weak and really bad sound.
I have done some research, but advices do not work on this system anymore (2013 laptop).
System: Manjaro Linux, KDE version, kernel version 3.11.4-1

~$ cat /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf
options snd-hda-intel model=ref
I have tried hda-jack-retask (which no longer works), setting alsa-base.conf (as you can see above) and pulseaudio's module-combine-sink.
Thanks for any help.
