hp dv5000 monitor resolution

Hi,

I´m running suse 10 on my laptop hp dv5000 (15.4 widescreen), but i have some problems with the monitor resolution.

I try change the resolution in sax2, but if i select a diferent resolution like 1280x768 and after test always appear 800x600 on the test screen...

Monitor list dont show my widescreen monitor.

Try reading up on "Modeline" ...
