how to use nvidia for glx instead of intel

Hi, I searched a lot, but I could'nt find any answer.
I have a 1215n Asus laptop, and I'm running debian testing with gnome-shell.
apart from problems in slowness of gnome-shell, I have another problem! I cannot play any 1080p video smoothly. VlC and mplayer2 can, but it's not as smooth as Win7. totem (gstreamer) cannot.

bumblebee (+ nvidia-current) is installed, and it's working. (optirun glxgears shows a significant difference)
bumblebee does not support vdpau in version 3.0.

The intel VGA does not support VDPAU:

------------------
vainfo
libva: VA-API version 0.32.0
libva: va_getDriverName() returns 0
libva: Trying to open /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/dri/i915_drv_video.so
libva: va_openDriver() returns -1
vaInitialize failed with error code -1 (unknown libva error),exit
------------------
lspci | grep VGA
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation N10 Family Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 02)
05:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation Device 0a76 (rev ff)
------------------

I don't know much, but I think if I could use nvidia instad of intel, I could use vdpau for 1080p movies. now would you please tell me how can I boot with nvidia enabled?

Thank you in advance

I knew them, I've already installed nvidia drivers. My question is how I can use nvidia for default vga, instead of intel. currently intel is the default and nvidia is the second, I wanted to know if there is a way to choose nvidia for default.

And this doesn't work ?

Quote:
The bbswitch code is a module that disables discrete graphics cards
(currently 20120329 only for nvidia cards), it is incorporated in
Bumblebee-3.0+ versions.

There are two other modules for switching on/off the discrete card,
acpi_call and vga_switcheroo/byo-switcheroo for older computers
(with a graphical multiplexer).
Also, if I understand it right, you need to use nouveau and not nvidia (but not 100% sure)

Thank you for your reply heinblöd,
by bumblebee I can run applications with "optirun" command, which turns on the nvidia for that application. for example, optirun totem. but the issue is that nvidia is the second vga provider, and intel handles the entire graphic jobs such as xserver. according to this, bumblebee cannot use nvidia for vdpau to watch 1080p videoes. If you want to watch 1080p videos with your nvidia ION, you should boot computer with nvidia as default vga. and I don't know this part, that how I can boot with nvidia as default.
nvidia drivers are installed and work properly.
There is a project for 1015 Asus, which let the user weather boot with intel or nvidia. but it doesn't work with 1215n models
