how to shring vista Business hard drive on laptop


I want to shrink the vista hard drive so I can install kubuntu 8.04
Did it once but can't remember how. Any help would be much appreciater.

I have been able to do this by clicking on the items is th "Help and Support" Item.

All goes well on Kubuntu installation.

Have you booted your machine with Kubuntu CD in the drive? Use the partitioning wizard during configuration to shrink the vister drive.

No, I did the shrinking in Vista. I then inserted the 8.04 disk in the drive and booted it as a live disk.After it came in and all looked OK, I installed it without a hitch.
I lost my XP a couple of years ago when I tried to install 6.04 and the grub screwed up a hidden XP file and I had to beg,borrow to get new install XP disks and I didn't want to take the chance here.
Thanks for the suggestion, I shall keep it in mind.
