How to set up Sleep mode on MSI Wind using Mandriva

I installed Mandriva 2009 Power Pack on a MSI Wind. The problem I have is I don't know how to get sleep mode to work.
I use KDE 3.5 and use KDE PowerSave. Is it possible to have it set up so that whenever I close the lid of the Wind it goes into sleep mode and then comes out of it once I open it or press a key? If not, is it possible to manually select Sleep Mode and then somehow manually come out of it?
Unfortunately for now if I don't turn off my Wind and go on the road often the battery is dead since it stays on and I don't like having to shut it down and boot it up each time I use it.

Sorry, it's not a good thing to double post - most members who like to answer will your threads via "Zero Reply Threads" or "View Latest Posts", and double posting tends to split answers and attention - something you don't want, either.

Sorry I can't help with your sleep mode issue (never used Mandriva...). It's probably an acpi issue, though...

M.
