How to Install Linux on a USB Hard Disk

Dear Friends,
I am planning to buy a USB Hard Disk of 40GB and install
Linux on it.
I have a RedHat Linux Distro as ISO images.
My OS is Windows XP home edition.
Can anyone help me to install RedHat in USB Hard disk.
Any critical steps to be followed?

Thanks for your replies.

If you can boot from your USB drive and run the redhat install you should not have any other problems that a normal HD install would have. Don't know how fast these (2.0?) HD drive are but the only difference I could see is maybe a throughput problem.

I would just get a second HD, with the same interface as your XP HD.
