put the cd in start the computer puppy will start to boot. select your language keyboard mouse time zone and screen display size. then puppy will start. It is running in ram now. Menu>system>gparted now partition your drive the size you want. and the make you create a swap partition . now click the install button
reboot. |

Check you're Bios settings .
Make sure that the Cd/DVD drive is the first boot device. |

Puppy linux do not give you the option to check the install media.
If the install media is incorrect it will not boot . There are distros that do have that option so you can check it before installing |
so what install media do i need for a twinhead 1998 notebook?
or what linux will you propose do install? |
Opensuse , Ubuntu , Fedora as examples do have that option .
Ubuntu as a example also comes as a live-cd so can try it out first installing . A live-cd is a totally working OS There are a lot of live-cd of different distros |
hmm... i need a really slim version of linux thou
