Fedora 7 on Toshiba Settalite pro a300
 
Dear Friends

If anybody knows how to install fedora 7 Linux on Toshiba laptop please help me. i tried installing fedora 7 on toshiba settalite pro A300 but it ask for media drivers.

I have 250GB HDD, 3GB RAM, L2 3MB, D-core proc.

3GB RAM, 250GB HDD, Core 2 Dual processor. the installation get stuck after selecting the Installation media. message is displayed to select the media drivers from the list of displayed driver list i selected all but could not get through it. please if anybody knows this issue help me....... thanks in advance

have you tried installing w/ out the drivers to see if it see your hardware?

Hmmm Don't mean to interfere but fedora 7 is quite old version and things have moved on a lot.

I wouldn't stay on an older version unless absolutely necessary.

thanks rizwan. yes i know my laptop has latest hardware and fedora is older than that. thats the reason fedora is not recognizing my h/w
