how to configure the widescreen of a thinkpad Edge 15.6" on kubuntu 9.0 evtl. 10.04
 

Hi masters of the universe!!!

I just bought a Lenovo edge 15.6". I installed kubuntu 9.10 (must be done in "safe graphic mode").
The display's resolution is 1366 x 768, and I can't get to configure it.
Would it be easier if I wait and install Kubuntu 10.04?

Ok, sorry, i was wrong. After instaling in Safe Graphic Mode (SGM)I could see the graphic interface, although enlarged due to widescreen resolution. But after rebooting, I could not see the X anymore.

I instaled a kubuntu 9.10-64b (tought so, couse the laptop comes with a wincrap7-64b) with a Intel core i3

How can fix this from the instalation? or should i wait for the kubuntu 10.04?
